While I do like a number of brands, like Ralph Lauren, Hilfiger, and J. Crew, I may be the most fond of Vineyard Vines. I just really love the whole “Cape” preppy feel of all the clothes. I mean, whoi doesn’t love seersucker, pastels, and lobster shorts???
The guys that started the company, Ian and Shep, know their roots, love their roots, and stick to the program. I don’ see them coming out with any ripped jeans any time soon. For those seeking a bargain, it seems that they have a couple of outlet stores, one being close to my hometown. Pretty cool, have to check that out. I’m still waiting for them to open one on LI, preferably in Garden City, but we’ll see.
